Since Andy’s inception in 2002, over 3,500 employees have been granted assistance. This assistance is only possible through the continuous support of all our fellow Texas Roadhouse employees. Andy’s Outreach is truly about Roadies helping Roadies in their time of need. Below are just a few short stories of how Andy’s Outreach has touched some of our Roadies in need. If you would like to share your story anonymously, please do so under the Contact Us section of our website.

  • Helping Hands
  •  

  • A husband and wife, both employees of TXRH, gave birth to premature twins that spent several months in the NICU. Andy’s was able to help them with essential living expenses, so they were able to be spend time at the hospital.
  •  

  • An employee’s young daughter unexpectedly lost her sight and spent several weeks in the hospital trying to diagnose her condition.  Andy’s helped the employee cover her essential living expenses while she was by her daughter’s side.
  •  

  • An employee was tragically killed in an auto accident and the family had no financial resources to bury him, so Andy’s stepped up and helped with the funeral expenses.
  •  

  • An employee was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had just recently lost health coverage from his family. Andy’s was able to help with some of the medical expenses to lessen the financial burden.
  •  

  • Two employees lost their home and all their belongings to a severe fire. Andy’s quickly helped them by providing some assistance to help with the replacement of essential household items and getting into a new place.
  •  

  • When the Shadeland restaurant, store # 29 was completely destroyed by a fire, Andy’s was able to provide assistance to over 34 employees to help with their essential living expenses until they were able to find another position or be placed in another restaurant.
  •  

  • An employee’s brother needed a kidney transplant and he graciously donated one of his, which left him unable to work for several weeks and with a lot of outstanding medical expenses. Andy’s was able to assist with living and medical expenses.

 

This board is displayed at the Texas Roadhouse Support Center in Louisville, KY. These are just a few of the very gracious thank you cards that Andy’s Outreach has received from employees that have been touched by the fund.
